PRIVACY POLICY

L.I.F.E.R. follows accepted standards for protection of privacy over the Internet. The statement below outlines what information we obtain, how we use it, and how visitors can restrict the use or disclosure of information.
  1. The only information L.I.F.E.R. obtains is supplied voluntarily by visitors.
  2. L.I.F.E.R. discloses individually identifiable information (the “Information”) obtained online only when required by law or when needed to protect the safety of its clients, employees, or property.
  3. L.I.F.E.R. may use the Information to grade posttests and send certificates of completion for continuing medical education (CME) activities, as appropriate.
  4. After each CME activity, L.I.F.E.R. asks participants to complete an evaluation. The questionnaire asks whether participants are willing to take part in a follow-up survey. If participants agree, their Information will be used to send them follow-up surveys.
  5. L.I.F.E.R. may use the Information to invite participants to future activities that we may offer.
  6. Commercial supporters of an activity may ask L.I.F.E.R. for a list of participants for that activity, so that they can broadly evaluate its outcomes (i.e., who attended, which medical specialties/practices were represented, how this compares to the target audience, and whether the activity should be repeated because of insufficient attendance). In that event, L.I.F.E.R. will request in writing that the supporter not contact participants directly for any purpose.

L.I.F.E.R. and its partners are committed to safeguarding client privacy, and we require all employees and contractors to protect the privacy of information about our clients and participants.
